This is the day-to-day activities of the sworn law enforcement officers assigned to the school system for the Police Department. Jurisdiction Hourly Pay Yearly Salary City of Chickasaw $20.34 - $21.88 $42,312 - $45,516 Minimum Qualification Requirements Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and a minimum of two years of sworn law enforcement experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements. Physical Requirements: Ability to meet established state standards of physical endurance, agility, health, and vision for law enforcement personnel. Special Requirement Must possess certification as a sworn law enforcement officer by the State of Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission.
