Glastonbury Police Department, the first CALEA - accredited department in the state, is seeking POST Certified Police Officers who are committed to serving and protecting the Glastonbury community, through professional, sensitive and collaborative policing. Out-of-state certified officers will be considered if eligible for comparative certification through POSTC. For additional information about our department, please click here. The Town of Glastonbury offers an attractive compensation and benefits package, with compensation commensurate with years of experience. Benefits include a defined benefit and defined contribution pension plan, health, dental, life insurance and generous paid time off. Current base salary ranges from $84,988 to $109,387. Successful candidates will complete a written test, interviews, and background investigation.
