CITY OF EDINA CHIEF OF POLICE The City of Edina, MO, a fourth-class city, located in Knox County, is accepting applications for the position of Chief of Police to perform duties as set forth in RSMo Section 85.610. Applicant should be in good physical condition, computer literate, have excellent communication/people skills, and be willing to work some weekends and holidays. Applicant should also be willing to live in the City of Edina, or within Knox County. - Wage is negotiable - $23.00 to $25.00 per hour dependent upon qualifications and experience - Competitive benefits package provided by the City JOB REQUIREMENTS - US Citizen and resident of State of Missouri - At least 21 years of age - Missouri Post Certified - Valid Missouri Driver’s License - Must be able to pass background check DUTIES (including but not limited to) - Enforcing City Ordinances - Routine patrolling - Responding to calls for service - Conducting investigations - Writing reports - Interacting with citizens in a professional manner - Enforcing traffic laws - Budget management For questions, please call 660-397-3251 during regular business hours 8:30-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 Monday through Friday.
