Noel is a smaller community with many different cultures, an Elementary/ Jr. High School (3-8 grades), 4 different campgrounds within the city limits and a population of approximately 2200 people. During the winter season the population is consistent, however during the summer season our population can be up to triple the amount on the weekends. Qualifications - At least 21 years of age. - Possess a valid driver’s license, with a satisfactory driving record. - High school diploma or GED - US citizen or be able to work in the United States. - Possess a Class A or B Missouri POST license upon hire. - Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. - Must not have any pending or prior misdemeanors or felony convictions related to Assault or Domestic Violence. - Must possess a high level of integrity and be of good moral character. - Pass oral interview Responsibilities - Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls. - Conduct traffic stops - Routine Patrolling. - Maintain order in public areas. - Prevention and suppression of crime - Protection of life and property. - Provide Assistance to victims of Crime. - Conduct investigations/interrogations. - Enforce laws and ordinances. - Write reports and maintain records. - Testifying in court. - Working with other agencies and providing mutual aid when needed.
