Schedule: Tuesday - Friday (10-hour shifts) 6:15am-4:15pm
Office on site at Rebecca Boone Elementary School
Department issued Panasonic Toughbook/MULES
Overtime compensated at 1.5 times in pay or time off

REQUIREMENTS

The SRO will be required to work patrol, traffic and criminal
investigations when necessary and/or when school is not in session
The SRO will be responsible for all investigations initiated at the
assigned school
(2) Years full-time sworn law enforcement experience required to apply
Be willing to attend SRO training conferences yearly
The SRO must be willing to travel for training opportunities
The SRO will assist the City and Police Department with community
event planning and implementation
The SRO must be willing to speak and engage with large groups and be a
good communicator
The SRO must be proactive and always be willing to learn
The SRO will assist with school crossing guard duties/traffic control as
needed
Be familiar with the juvenile justice system and similar agencies
Current Missouri POST License and a valid Missouri drivers license
