Senior First Class: $109,153.31*

*Current contract terms Dec 31, 2026. The City is currently in contract negotiations with the Union and anticipates increased rates effective Jan 1, 2027.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Washington driver’s license (or ability to obtain)
• Extensive background, polygraph, physical and psychological exam
• Lateral applicants will have successfully completed the Basic Law Enforcement Academy (BLEA) and have at least one year experience as a Law Enforcement Officer.
• Additional requirements may be established by the Civil Service Commission
